Most massage practices ask you to choose a modality before your session begins. Deep tissue or relaxation? Hot stones or cupping? Add aromatherapy for $15? That approach forces you to decide what your body needs before a trained therapist has even assessed it — and it turns therapeutic tools into a menu of upsells. The Signature Restorative Massage at Soothe & Sage works differently. You don't choose a modality. I choose for you — or rather, your body tells me what it needs, and I respond with whatever combination of tools and techniques will produce the best result.
Every Signature Restorative session begins with a conversation about how you're feeling that day, what's bothering you, and what you're hoping to get from the session. Then my hands do the rest. As I work through your body, I assess each area and respond in real time. Your upper back is bound up with fascial adhesions? Cupping goes there. Your low back is tight and guarding? Deep, focused pressure with warm salt stones. Your neck is wired from stress? Gentler technique with steamed towels and aromatherapy to calm the nervous system first, then specific work once the tissue softens. Your shoulders need both depth and decompression? Deep tissue massage paired with cupping.
Red light therapy runs throughout the session, supporting cellular repair and naturally boosting serotonin and dopamine. Steamed towels open tissue before I work and soothe it after. Aromatherapy calms the nervous system, creating the conditions for deeper release. Warm packs maintain warmth in areas I've already worked so the tissue doesn't re-guard. Everything flows together seamlessly because it's all guided by one principle: what does your body need right now?
This is what over a decade of experience enables. I've worked on thousands of bodies, and I've learned to read what tissue is asking for by how it responds under my hands. The Signature Restorative isn't a single technique applied everywhere — it's a conversation between my training and your body that produces a session completely unique to you. My regular clients tell me it's like getting five different treatments in one session because the approach shifts naturally from area to area.
Every session at Soothe & Sage is $135 for 60 minutes or $165 for 90 minutes. All modalities — cupping, red light therapy, salt stones, steamed towels, aromatherapy, warm packs — are always included at one flat rate with no add-on fees. Your body shouldn't have to choose between treatments. It should get whatever it needs.
