Arm, Elbow & Forearm Pain

Soothe & Sage

Relief for the Parts That Do the Most Work

Grip Less, Heal More

Your arms and hands do more work in a single day than most people give them credit for. Typing, gripping, lifting, carrying, scrolling, cooking, driving — every one of these actions loads the muscles and tendons of your forearms, and over time, that repetitive demand takes a toll. Elbow pain, forearm tightness, and radiating arm discomfort are some of the most frustrating conditions I treat because they affect virtually everything you do with your hands.

Tennis elbow — lateral epicondylitis — happens when the forearm extensor muscles and their tendons become inflamed from repetitive gripping and wrist extension. You don't need to play tennis to develop it; typing, mouse use, gardening, and even carrying heavy bags are common culprits. Golfer's elbow — medial epicondylitis — affects the opposite side, where the forearm flexors and their tendons become strained from repetitive gripping, wrist flexion, and pronation. Both conditions create a deep, aching pain at the elbow that can make gripping a coffee cup or turning a doorknob surprisingly painful.

When I treat arm and elbow pain, I work the entire chain — not just the forearm. The biceps, triceps, and lat muscles often contribute to elbow and arm pain through tension patterns that compress or load the joint unevenly. Forearm extensor and flexor tightness need direct release, but if the shoulder is also restricted or the neck is referring pain down the arm through trigger points, addressing the forearm alone won't resolve the problem. I trace the pain to its source and work every contributing structure.

Red light therapy is particularly helpful for elbow and forearm conditions because the tissue in these areas is relatively superficial — the light wavelengths penetrate effectively to reduce tendon inflammation and stimulate cellular repair right where the damage lives. Warm Himalayan salt stones add deep heat that helps tight forearm muscles release before I work into the deeper layers.

Every session at Soothe & Sage includes cupping, red light therapy, salt stones, steamed towels, aromatherapy, and warm packs at one flat rate with no add-on fees. Your arms work hard for you every single day — let's make sure they get the care they need to keep going.

Tennis Elbow Relief

Targeted release of the forearm extensors and their tendons reduces the lateral elbow pain of tennis elbow and improves grip strength.

Golfer's Elbow Relief

Releasing the forearm flexors and medial tendon attachment eases the inner-elbow pain of golfer's elbow and reduces wrist and grip discomfort.

Forearm Decompression

Deep tissue work on chronically tight forearm muscles improves circulation, reduces compression on nerves and tendons, and restores wrist mobility.

Full-Chain Treatment

Addressing the shoulder, biceps, triceps, and lats alongside the forearm ensures upstream tension sources aren't perpetuating your elbow pain.

Red Light Therapy for Tendon Healing, Included Free

Red light therapy is especially effective for elbow and forearm conditions where tendon inflammation drives the pain. At Soothe & Sage, it's included with every session alongside cupping, salt stones, steamed towels, aromatherapy, and warm packs — no add-on fees.
